I cannot attach my resume/CV to my application. What should I do?
Our system allows for attachments up to 4 MB and supports the following document types: DOC, DOCX, RTF, PDF, TXT, HTML, please check your file size/type, change if necessary and attach. We suggest that your resume be no longer than 2-3 pages.
Can I submit an application via regular mail or email?No. Applications for positions must be submitted online. They will not be accepted by other means (paper, email, fax, etc.). This will ensure that your information is captured in our database. If you experience technical difficulties with an online application, please email jobshelp@swissport.com with your questions.
How will I know if my application and resume were received?You will receive an acknowledgement via email.
I would like SWISSPORT to keep a copy of my resume on file. How can I submit my resume if I am not applying for a specific job?
Please submit a general application on Swissport USA Job Search page. By completing a general application, you can save time when applying to multiple jobs and avoid re-typing your information for each job application. The information you provide for your general application will automatically be transferred to job specific applications when you apply to a job on the career section.
How do I edit my general or job specific application?To edit your general application, log back into your profile by clicking here and entering your username and password in the previous applicants section. You can view your general application in the "edit application" link, add additional cover letters, update your resume or make changes to your education, employment history, availability, etc.
To edit your job specific application, log back into your profile by clicking here and entering your username and password in the previous applicants section. Under "Positions you have applied to:" click on the Position title and then add, change, or remove information as necessary. (Please note that if the position has already been filled or is no longer available, you will not be able to change your job specific application.)
What happens after I submit my application?Your application and qualifications will be considered for the open positions you specified. If your qualifications match the position profile, a recruiter will contact you directly. If not, your application will remain in our database and can be matched against future openings. Also, you can login at any time to apply to additional positions and make edits on your application.
How do I check the status of my application?
Log back into your profile by clicking here and entering your username and password in the previous applicants section. Your application status will appear in the top left hand corner of your profile.
If you just created a general profile and have not applied to any position, your status will show as "On File" and you will see a message that you are not currently being considered for any openings.
If you have previously applied to position(s) at Swissport USA, you will see the following information for each position:
Position Title: Title of the Position
Location: SFO, IAD, LAX, Headquarters, etc.
Status: Application Received, In Process, Hired, On File, etc.
Action: Send to Friend / Remove me
